Insurance and Billing
La Jolla Endoscopy Center accepts most major insurance. We will bill your insurance carrier; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles.

They make a nervous procedure really easy. They provide you written directions for the prep. Any questions you have before the procedure are answered quickly. The nursing staff for the procedure are very friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Mayer is terrific. They send you home with your results in hand. That's really helpful when you're still a little loopy from sedation. Don't put it off, go see Dr. Mayer.

My colonoscopy at La Jolla Gastroentology went very well. The staff, from nurses to anesthesiologist, were skilled, highly professional and calmly communicative. The procedure itself went smoothly. A little apprehensive at first, I am appreciative and plan to continue using their services.
