Insurance and Billing
La Jolla Endoscopy Center accepts most major insurance. We will bill your insurance carrier; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles.

The place is professional in atmosphere with a knowledgeable, friendly staff to avail any concerns about the procedure about to be conducted. Post operative care was thorough, they ensured that patient was totally lucid before being released to his own designated caretaker ; in my case, my wife, who was briefed about post-operative care prior to the procedure and reinforced upon released from clinic.

Truly outstanding professionalism and care. Having a colonoscopy is not something we look forward to, but LJEC made the experience as smooth and easy as possible. Everyone I dealt with from the first phone call to the day of procedure and the Doc were amazing. Understanding, professional, compassionate, friendly are at the top of the list. A five star review doesn't do this team of pros justice for they way they were. Outstanding!

It took 35 years to get the right medication. I'm so glad that Dr. Andrew Mayer prescribed me the right medication. Finally a doctor that listens to me. Thank You Dr. Mayer 🥼🤗👍

I had not met Dr Mayer before my procedure, I made my appointment through his PA ( who was also wonderful) I’m so happy I found LA Jolla Gastroenterology. I was extremely worried and it didn’t take long to get an appointment. It was a much better experience then the previous doctor. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer this facility and Dr. to my family and friends.
